Jay Paquette is the Laboratory Operations Supervisor/Physicist for Proto Manufacturing Inc. He specializes in residual stress measurement by x-ray diffraction. Some of the industries he has served are aerospace, automotive, civil engineering, medical equipment, military, power generation, springs, and weld inspection. He has experience measuring a wide variety of materials and surface treatments for process development, process control, lifetime estimations, failure analysis, and other R&D. Mr. Paquette earned his B.S. of physics from Michigan State University. Before Proto, he worked in education instructing college level math and physics.
